We look forward to meeting you
WHAT TO EXPECT WHEN YOU VISIT
What are your services like?
People describe our church services as worshipful, energetic and loving. Service typically lasts about two hours and includes plenty of singing/worship, a reflective communion message and a life-guiding sermon.
What should I wear?
When you come to our service you will find people wearing everything from jeans to suits. Please wear what you feel comfortable worshiping God in. We believe you'll feel completely welcome - whether you're casually dressed or in your "Sunday best."
What's expected of first-time visitors?
Nothing! Rest assured we're not going to ask you to come up front. You're sure to meet warm, friendly people at our services, but you won't be singled out. And don't feel obligated to give to our weekly offering or participate in communion unless you want to. There are no expectations for you as a guest.
Can I take communion?
Of Course! There is no expectation that you participate in communion as a guest. However, if you want to take communion at our services, you are more than welcome to do so.
What about my kids?
We want to make sure that both children and adults enjoy an encouraging and inspiring time each Sunday. During worship services, we offer a Nursery (Birth - 5yrs) and Youth Hour Service (K-12th grade) allowing parents to attend the worship service while children enjoy an age-appropriate time of learning and fun.
How do I become a member?
We believe that the church is simply a body of believers who have become true disciples of Jesus. If you want to be a part of this body, the first step is to visit a worship service and ask us about our New Members Class!
We know visiting a new church can feel a little intimidating. We'll do our best to make you feel right at home!
Our Primary goal is to facilitate the reconciliation of man and God, through providing ministries designed to equip men, women and children to live abundant lives in Christ.
We are a diverse church that guides individuals to complete lives in Christ, through the Gospel.
Coach men to be strong in Christ, leaders, exemplary Christians, faithful and dedicated.
Guide women to be Christ-led encouragers, nurturing, loving, faithful and supportive.
Instruct young adults (ages 18-25) to strive towards maturity in Christ, able to mentor others.
Train youth (ages 12-18) to grow in biblical understanding, to be good students, respectful, and celibate.
Nurture children in basic knowledge of the Bible.
Enlighten inmates' lives with the Gospel of Jesus Christ and reduce recidivism (the cycle of repeat offending) through an active Prison Ministry.
Encourage our members who are coping with the challenges of mental health, like alcohol abuse, and other drugs, depression, anxiety issues, anger management, and bipolar disorders.
Communicate with married couples on how to build strong Christ-centered marriages through proactive support groups, mentorship's and counseling.
What We Believe
We believe the Bible is the inspired, infallible, unalterable Word of God, written by holy men of old, as they were moved by the Holy Ghost. (2 Peter 1:20, 21)
We believe in one God who is infinite in power, holy in nature, attributes & purpose; omniscient; omnipresent. We believe that He was revealed to us, Father in creation, Son in redemption and Holy Spirit in His comforting grace that never leaves those who trust Him. (I Cor. 8:6; Eph. 4:6; 2 Cor. 5:19; Joel 2:28)
We believe that in Jesus Christ dwelleth all the fullness of the Godhead bodily; for it pleased the Father that in Him should all the fullness dwell. (Col. 2:9; Col. 1:19)
We believe in the virgin birth; that Jesus was both human and divine-God manifest in the flesh.
We believe in the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus. We believe that He ascended on high and has sent His Spirit, the Holy Ghost, which was poured out at Jerusalem over 2000 years ago and is still filling the hearts of those who diligently seek Him today.
We believe in baptism in water by immersion in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and the baptism of the Holy Ghost, speaking in other tongues as the Spirit gives utterance. (Acts 2:4, 38)
We believe in Grace. We believe that grace is not earned, it’s appreciated. It is God’s unmerited-undeserved plan of salvation. Jesus purchased our salvation with His life and blood, and then gave us access to eternal life through faith in Him! (Romans 6:23, II Corinthians 9:15 and Ephesians 2:8)
We believe in a holy, sanctified life, divine healing, communion and the glorious catching away (rapture) of the saints when Jesus returns in the clouds of glory to take His people to Heaven.
(I Thess. 4:3, 7, 13-17)
